Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Ashley and this blog is an outlet for me to get things off my mind and share my thoughts with the world.
I am a public library director in a rural library in Arkansas. I am a library advocate and an animal lover. I was named an Emerging Leader by the American Library Association for 2011.
I have been married since 2012 to my husband Michael and we welcomed our first child Genevieve into the world on August 6, 2014. We also share our lives with 2 furry children, Novella and Faraday, both of whom are rescues.
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2012 and have been struggling with it ever since. As part of my journey with Hashimoto's, I have become a gluten free eater.
I own a business on Etsy, Genevieve's Smile, for which I create hair bows and jewelry and a few other handmade items.
I love to read, nap, play with my daughter, cook, and indulge in cosmetics and shoes!
